Summer Reading at the Library

The summer library programs are going strong.  Each Wednesday morning through July 1st, children are gathering for stories, crafts, and song from 9:30 to 11:00 with the theme "Every Hero Has a Story."  On Wednesday, June 10th, local community heroes --  Odon police, ambulance, and fire departments -- visited with their sirens and flashing lights and each child received a junior firefighter hat.

WonderLab will be at the Barn on Main Street doing an hour-long library-related show on Thursday evening, July 2nd at 7:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to the show.  There is no admission charge.

Summer reading is also being encouraged for all ages.  For every library book read, the reader may drop an entry form into a box for a drawing that will happen the first week of August.  Come past the library and check it out!
